Looks like you have a Uni sticker on one of your cabinets. My 3 sons raced for 8 years. I sponsored a team of 16 riders, we rode for Free Agents bikes. I had a trailer and sold bikes, parts and service at the races. Along with Free Agent, they also rode Kastons's, Titans, Powerlites and Redlines. Fun times!

    Sorry for getting off topic

That's cool man. I miss racing bmx. The uni sticker is from a dirt bike air filter. With age I find it easier to twist a throttle.

Nice Bimini! What size tubing did you use? Im making one right now and doesnt seem as stought as yours. Im using 1" and also using the zipper idea.

Ha thats funny i used to race BMX in Minnesota also, took a state title or two as well. Used to race for Redline and Flex Bike Shop. Hey rushin, were in MN did you race? I raced Mankato quite a bit.

                  THANKS
I used 1" tubing. .125 wall (thickness) and bent it with a JD2 bender.

ZimTige- I lived in northern Iowa and we would go to Austin and Albert Lea. Albert Lea was indoor and outdoor. I never made up to Mankato.

Sorry, looks like mine is 7/8", not 1" like i thought and i used the bimini connectors to assemble the tubing so that explains it. I like how you made the front, looks way better than just straight accross. I might be back to the drawing board after seeing yours.
