2 Shred stixx custom wakesurf build pics!

I am getting 2 custom surf boards built this year! Both are parabolic (for some reason I prefer them) and s-glass. I was going to do carbon rails but the shaper talked me out of it. He thinks it would be too stiff with the parabolic stringers. One is a 5 fin thresher so I can run it as a thruster or a quad. The other is a chaos double haul board. This will be a sort of copy of the prototype they made last year. Its the board I ended up surfing the most last year. It's the fastest thing I have ever ridden. I constantly have to put the brakes on it from hitting the boat. It's also much looser feeling the elevation or comp1 or hazen. Plus my airs were huge (for me) and I landed a air 180 revert a few times on it!! Here are some pictures. The first two pictures are the chaos prototype from last year.

I will run it as a thruster so 3 fins. Top 2 and the center rear or as a quad all but the center rear. It just makes the board more flexible. Threshers are fast and fun boards.

Some nice lookin sticks man. You say the Chaos is sort of a copy. What changes are they or are you having them make?

What's with the Deschutes sixers on the tables?

I normally get 1 new custom every year, then sell it to a buddy at the end of the season for cheap. I decided on 2 new sticks this year. The chaos is totally different then the hazen, double haul and the bottom is different as well. Makes the board seem flatter and makes it fast! I haven't changed much on the design. The nose will be different and the rocker may be less. I am still in talks with the shaper about it. I own a brewpub and that is a 6 pack with the condiments in it.

Here is some pics of the thresher paint!! I told him to do anything he wanted. This is what he came up with. Looks so sick!! If you weight less then 175 the thresher is an amazing board. I believe the highest airs ever on a wakesurf have been on one, 2nd may be the chaos shape.

Oh, its a brew pub. I thought it was a brewery you owned which would make it a little odd to have sixpack holders from a "neighboring" brewery. My mistake.

Just doing paint on this one, no real graphics other then the shred stixx logos I am guessing. I am leaving the art up to the artist. Maybe I will have more say on the chaos board.

Here is a picture of the thresher done. Working with Nick at Shred Stixx has been great. The guy sure knows shaping!! He is even going to finish my balsa board for me. Here is a link to order a custom stixx. Can't wait for him to start on my chaos!!!
