When I researched this earlier, including a call to Poseidon/DeckAdence, I got a sample of a nice graphite (sort of a mid to dark gray) that was available in 4' wide. There were several other decent colors too in 4'.

Agreed. Since I posted that, I've had a very nice conversation with them and learned a great deal. They even called back while I was in the boat, taking measurements!

Sadly, Tige model years 2008+ must go through Tige to get fitted floors - the manufacturer won't do them directly, presumably as part of their contract with Tige. I thought the cutoff was more recent.

On the brighter side, the graphite color is what they recommend as the best match for the stock Tige carpet, and it is available in all widths including six feet. They are happy to sell you the raw material, and the adhesive to make your own seams, and talk you through the process.

On the 24Ve, they normally seam in the exact same place as I had decided would work best; nice to have the experts agree with you! Now I just need to take some more precise measurements and figure out how much I need to do the job. I've got 3+ weeks of solid family in August and it would be nice to have this in place while they're here.

That is whom I'm dealing with. I like to go straight to the manufacturer when possible. Marine Flooring is whom I called, and who called me back while I was sitting in the boat taking measurements. "Paul" there said they cannot sell direct for anything 2008 and beyond, but they can sell their raw material and give lots of assistance in doing it ourselves.

Yes, I'm sure they can sell it to me with my own pattern. They were speaking of making a ready-to-go floor using their existing CAD drawings, which I suspect are based on Tige-provided data.

As for there not being anyone there named Paul, see their Contact Us page:

                    http://marineflooring.net/contact-us/

...where you'll find the email for OEM Customer Service is "Paul@DECKadencemarine.com", phone number 281-507-1047, extension 82. He's the third name down on the list.

Fair enough, good research. I called the Marine Flooring direct phone number, and Paul was the guy who called back. Marine Flooring must have automatically forwarded my callback info to him.

That's interesting, because when I spoke to the receptionist at Marine Flooring she said "Paul is on the phone at the moment, can I have him return your call?" That made it sound like they are one and the same company. Suckered me right into it.

Not sure if I trust these folks now, I feel like I was played.

Thanks guys for helping put another "to do" on my list. I smell my old carpet even worse now. Even the wife's on my @$$ to get it replaced. Sounds like a good option and with an '06, they shouldn't have a problem getting me what I need directly?

hi guys i am in Australia and looking to get some custom poseidon flooring for my boat.

I have sent a couple of emails off from there contact list on their web page but haven't received any feed back.

Because of the time difference between the 2 country's it isn't easy to phone, do you guys have a contact email that you know will get returned.

                              Cheers

                              Batty

I just emailed Paul and he got back to me right away....price was about what people have said but another $100 for the logo for my 20V. I would have to rip out the carpet and send it to them for the best fit or get them a template. I don't think I'll cut it out quite yet as it will take 2 weeks according to him.
