Im considering tearing my stained up nasty old carpet out and recoating with Ultra Tuff Marine. Easy application, and I end up with a nice, soft to the footsies, pressure washable coating.
It's what I used on the houseboat deck.So this monkey walks into a bar...

I presume the Poseidon flooring from the factory does not have snaps or the like. I wonder how it does towing with no cover?

The only hiccup I see is the rear seat is screwed in by a piece of carpet covered plastic. See picture. It is similair to the what you see below and next to the port side speaker.
The walk through/bow carpet currently has snaps in it. I might keep the snaps in it just for added security or I remove them and seal the holes.
I will start this project on June 15th and will post pictures on my findings.
I also added the picture from the Poseidon website of the Platinum sample. It looks vary similar to what I am looking for.Last edited by Booms; 06-05-2012, 05:50 PM."You're rather attractive for a beautiful girl with a great body."

Can't wait to see what you come up with. My wife managed to take on a bunch of water and the boat and garage stink.
I think I will keep the carpet around that access panel to make sure it does not squeak or rub.
Other than that I think I am going to remove it.
This is one project I am excited to start. I hate that the carpet stinks all the time."You're rather attractive for a beautiful girl with a great body."

The only difference is I have a round pedistal style chair mount where the newer RZ2s have a squared off fiberglass base. PM me if you want the quote he gave me with a painted tige logo. It was a lot less then what I was expecting.
This is a go for me if the fiberglass below the carpet is not damaged. I can get the adhesvie off just hope it is white fiberglass underneath.

pull the carpet up.. Go buy a block of dry ice move it around on floor and use nice scrapper to remove glue should be really easy once frozen. Then sand your surface with a nice 220 grit DA sander. vaccum the mess. get some tac cloths and wipe area clean. THen but a nice layer of gel coat down. Then your gravy all super easywww.1320diesel.com Home of the Fastest Diesels!
