RZ2 alpha Z tower lowering tips

ive never had to lower my alpha Z tower until now. can yall give some instructions and tips to do this safely?

Remove bemini first
Swivel the racks inside the boat and bungee racks to tower so they do not rotate and hit the boat when lowering the tower
Loosen/remove the tower quick release bolts
Lower tower and be prepared to hold tower as additional weight gets applied once past pivot point.

When raising the tower back up, make sure wires inside the tower pivot area do not get pinched

on our RZ2 you can actually stand on the rear seat and the tower will clear your legs when it comes down. This provides better leverage than standing on the engine cover or on the floor.

Raising the tower is usually harder than lowering, especially if you have four WS speakers.
