    2001 Tige Metcraft Tower SNAPS...

    Hello,

I saw the original thread I opened on the Metcraft Tower problems many of us are having was closed. The last response was from Andrew replying to Zacky on a Private Message. I was referred to Metcraft for my problems and have not been able to find an acceptable solution.

Andrew, you stated in the last thread that you stand behind your boats. Is Tige in a position now to help with a possible solution?

    Thank You,

    B

I understand by your other threads that your boat is a 1998 model, unfortunately we did not have towers then and this would be an aftermarket installation. I have sent you a message.

I didn't ring in on the old topic but I will on this one.

I hate to be so blunt but, Warranty is Warranty. If its out of warranty, its out of warranty. Companies do not have to replace/repair items out of warranty. Its just that simple. If you have a 60k mile warranty on your car and at 61k the engine blows up, its not the manufactures fault. Their has been some issues with the Metcraft towers as posted on the other topic. I'm sure thats one of the main reasons Tige is building their towers in house.

I would get with Metcraft to see what they can do for you on the replacement/repair, or contact Tige for an '06 tower
My opinion is just that, MY OPINION!

The reason for the new post was because the old post was closed… I wanted to find out if an 06 Tower from Tige may be available now that would fit my boat.

I've always recognized the tower I had as well as most the others I would guess are out of warranty. That doesn't keep Tige or their manufacturer, Metcraft from trying to work something out for their customers who have what seems to be a problem tower does it? Companies do it all the time in order to improve customer satisfaction, image and at times to avoid liability.

Tige builds an in house tower now. I don't know how hard it is or how much it would cost Tige to change the size of the tower to fit my boat and others who are having the same problem. I'm sure it could be done though... I would consider jumping at a chance to buy an 06 Tige Tower at cost if it would fit my boat. It would make the amount of money spent on my gel coat repairs a little easier to swallow…

I'm not looking for a free tower, I never have been. With the amount of gel coat damage and replacement costs that I and possibly others have is it too much to look for a discounted option to resolve this? What about the people who still have this tower? At what future price does their wakeboarding experience come at?
