Where's all the Canucks?

I am truly amazed at the number of boats that are being sold up in Calgary. I have been watching on this forum for a few years as Hyperactive WS gets those incredible deliveries.

RJ and I are getting on a big ol jet plane today and will be at the Calgary show with Hyperactive tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday. Except for the cold, we are really looking forward to it.

Hyperactive told me that they will have 12, yes, thats right, 12 Tiges on the show floor? That blows my mind. I haven't seen that many new Tiges in one place since like 2007.

Going to be fun, Tony will also be there, if any of you Canadians will be at the show please come and say hi. Just don't forget to tell me your screen name. Somehow I remember those, not so good with real names and faces. We should be handing out some cool wake9 sticker sheets.

We have some very close friends in Calgary who spend a week with us at our lake place every summer. Last summer we introduced them to wakesurfing, and before long they were asking how much capable surf boats cost, how to install ballast systems, etc. They've been visiting for several years now but not until we started surfing them did they ask anything whatsoever about buying and owning a boat of their own.

Maybe friends south of the border are helping to stoke the interest in Albertan Tige purchases!

Lots now! We got a 14"-25" dump in the Denver area last weekend followed by another 3" on Tuesday morning and the mountains are finally getting some too. Resorts got 6" in the last 48 hours and are supposed to get another 1-3 today. Looks good for some boarding tomorrow!
