Really i don't see how it couldn't. The only thing I could see happening is the transition from the chines to the cutouts causing wash further forward. But i think it would be smoothed out by the transom shape? I am leaning more towards the Z3 and malibu shape to cutout. That way it's nice and simple. Just continue the bottom angle of the hull to the side and just smooth the corner out.Build thread: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?14787-Duffy-s-2005-24v-wakesurfing-mod-thread&highlight=duffys+24v

I could care less about the wakeboard wake. I just want a smoother less washy wave. Also these chines cause lift, so in theory cutting them will help the boat run less weight and achieve the same wave. If I couldn't see what these are doing while surfing I would most likely leave them. But the whole time I just stare at them and wonder why? And how to fix it.Build thread: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?14787-Duffy-s-2005-24v-wakesurfing-mod-thread&highlight=duffys+24v
