    Boat show.......

Went to the op boat show today. No tige, they were at the kc show last weekend. Stopped by the master craft booth, nice guys. He would give me a great deal on a left over 2011 x-35, only 95k! Haha, really? How do they stay in business? The boat looks nice, inferior speakers all around, sub par at best and clunky design. Great paint job though!

I did see my dream bow rider though, 2012 Chris craft 280, man that boat is like art!

The only move I'd make on a boat is the z3 considering we pretty much just surf now.

Lastly, I blew my jl 10 w6 at the end of last season, what sub for a 24ve? Looking at the wet sounds 12.

Nice!! I should have gone downtown but wanted to take my kids, they are 5 and 3 an didn't think they would handle the longer drive...

Was Performance @ OP? I couldn't remember if they did that show too or not. They had a really nice Z3 @ Bartle w/ the other models.

Performance wasnt at the op show. How much different in interior size does the z3 feel compared to the rz4? I have a 24ve and wouldn't want to go much smaller.

              OP Boat Show

2000 20ci Went to the show yesterday. I liked the Correct Craft 20' v drive. $70,000 plus trailer. Our salesman has a Tige very close to mine. Chris Crafts were real nice. My daughter liked the Cobalts. I was suprised The Heartland Clasic Boaat Club was not their this year. Their parent organization the Antique and Classic Boat Society is having their national meeting this year on Table Rock Lake in August. Lots of real nice wooden inboards to see. M&M

Look at a JL Audio W7 to replace that blown woofer.

When we rode in it at the Lake Mead Reunion, I felt it was very capable of holding an equal number of people. It would seem to be a good choice as long as 'typical' users (someone other than ragboy) can get good results with the surf wave. I am eager to see a few more folks get theirs on the water. Also eager to see if it wakeboards as well as it surfs.

I am surprised that you thought the interior speakers on the X35 were not so great. Aren't they still using the JL 7.7? If powered properly, they are top of the line interior speakers. MC has a ridiculous habit of underpowering them, however. If I cared to put bigger holes in my boat, I would get some of those in a heartbeat.
                  Be excellent to one another.

The JL 7.7" is probably the best interior speaker I have heard. If your boat has those, get a bigger amp! They like at least 100 watts RMS and will even handle 150 watts rms if you don't push them too hard.

State-a-Mind will evidently have a new Z3 at the St Louis boat show Feb 8-12.

I think the 2 were very comparable. The only noticeable difference to me was the exterior shape. The interiors are pretty much the same & have almost the exact same amount of comfortable moving room.

                          LOVE TIGE'S, BUT....

Although I am a VERY proud, and happy Tige owner, I also hold a soft spot for Chris Crafts... as evidenced by this picture taken with my Dads 1952 Riviera Runabout!
