New trailer?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking into purchasing a new trailer for my 2001 Tige 2100V in the next few months. I've searched the internet extensively, and have had no luck locating a new OR used trailer that meets my specifications. Does anyone know what the cost of a brand new trailer may be? Think I'll have to have one custom built, or do most inboards use the same trailer w/ adjustments being made only to the rails? Any suggestions on a good brand? Your help and advice is greatly appreciated!

Check out boatmate,DHM(California Trailer Works), and Ryan trailers. They are all good brands with different features and benefits.

I was in the talks with V/M out of Fresno a few years ago. If I remember right it was going to be around $6k. They wanted me to tow my boat down there and leave it with them for a week while they made one.

Extreme trailers are out the east bay if I remember, they are a bit more expensive, but all the owners seem to be very satisfied.

They have made trailers for every Tigé model ever built and will probably have the build file on all of them. If you gave them your model #, I bet they could build it and ship it out to you no problem.
What are your custom ideas?

Thanks for your advice about trailer manufacturers. I'm pretty much just looking for a base model tandem axle trailer; I don't care about putting anything super custom under an 11 year old boat. Think I may be able to pick something up for under 5k? I'll start sending emails to all the manufacturers that you guys listed, and see what I can come up with!

I've always liked the Extremes I've seen.

My Boatmate has been a great trailer. Even under duress. I had a couple of blowouts (Carlisle tires) and it never got out of shape. I've had it airborne and it was fine. It tows straight as an arrow. I also like having the spare under the boat as opposed to hanging vertical off the side. It's more of a B to get to but, since switching to Goodyears, I've never had to get to it.

The Boatmate trailer for my new RZR was < $4k. I'm not sure if that was a special price due to the purchase of a new boat. I ended up ordering a custom C-Channel frame aluminum trailer from McClain Trailers here in Houston for a little less than $6K.

I am looking to replace my trailer because it has some pretty substantial cancerous rust forming from many years of being stored outside near the ocean in So Cal. The boat is still in great shape, but the trailer looks pretty bad. I'd definitely be interested in a used trailer...What do you have for sale?

Guys, I have a 2004 Dorsey, tandem with drum brakes, led lights, for a 22v. Don't know if they will fit for yall's boats or not.

I'll look into whether or not this trailer would fit my boat. What color is it? Any rust or damage? How much are you trying to sell it for?

Pictures below. I bought the boat/trailer in Dec 2010, and it came with rust on the spots with red circles. The guy kept his boat in storage on Lake Texoma (north Texas), and I guess when he put it up after going on the lake, the water would sit in these corners - that is where the rust is present. The leaf springs have surface rust, but I have never seen a trailer without rust on the leaf springs. LED lights work good. I put a new trailer jack on it this past summer, along with new wheels and tires. All of that cost over $1,000. Trailer works great, but much to my wife's dismay, I want a shiny new one.

I would like $2,000, but don't know if that is reasonable or not? What do yall think? Sorry it looks dirty in these photos, as I had pulled it out of storage and just put the new wheels/tires on - this was I believe in March of last year (before season started). I hauled the boat/trailer from Houston to Arkansas last summer with no issues.
