This is the first time to cover our module configuration seats. The original vinyl was felt backed and thin. Has any one covered their seats and how did they turn out? What weigh and kind of material did you use? We also want to put the Tige' stitching back on. Any ideas?

Post a pic of the style you have, there was more than one. We had ours recovered last year, and the shop had no problems. We used the heaviest marine vinyl we could get. If I can find the bill, I will let you know exactly what we used. We just made sure it was high quality so it would last. Any good embroidry shop can take a jpeg picture and digitize it so it can be put on. Just makes a weak spot in the vinyl.

Thanks for you message. we will be doing this soon do you have the exact color/fabric that you used? Did you change out the seat/back foam and if so what can you tell me about it? I appreciate all the info I can get.
Your enterior looks great. I noticed you did not put the blue on the back hatch, probably made it easier.
We have enjoyed the boat since we got it new except for the underrated trailor
(5000#). Numerous problems due to weight with gear.

Killerbren/Captainkurk72,
I just used Copycat Covers on my 2001 2100V for the wrap around seat cushions. Everything turned out fine. However I got intimidated when it came time to install it and I took it to a local upholstery shop for the installation. I paid around $600 to copycat for the 6 cushions but ended up spending another $275 for labor for the installation. Turnaround was about 6-8 weeks. FYI, the upholstery shop said if I would have just came to him right away he probably could have saved me money overall. Here are some pics.

IMG_4089.jpgReally nice Chopper.. When I re-did mine I just took the old cushions to the shop and I had them made without the center seam as I felt all the stepping on them was what caused mine to crack open... I think I paid like 1500 for Sunbrella and new 4 inch cushions so I should have went your route. I may do some of the other seats up front and go your route. Thanks for sharing brotha.Last edited by h2osk8er00; 04-30-2018, 11:36 PM.

I just redid mine 2000 21v mine looked like the first pic also before I redid it. I also did most of the work my self but had the bottom (sitting part) done a little more modern by a shop. Make sure you use stainless steel staples i used a 4 way stretch vinyl on the solid colors carbon was 2 way stretch. The motor cover will need a gusset sown in to look right IMO. I can look up the manufacture of the 4 way if you would like. The color is completely different on mine. The 4 way makes it nice to do the front 90 degrease and the rear 90.IMG_1058.jpg
