    Finished heater install

I finished up my heater install today. I went with the heater craft with three adjustable pull outs. What do you guys think?

I bought the heater from heater craft and fabricated the box myself for the two down by the drivers feet. My idea was to be able to pull the vents out and be able to run them behind the drivers seat and to the back seats and not have them in the way of the drivers feet.

How did you afix it to the side of the boat? Is that long hose going across the center easy to put back in?

Yes they are easy to put back in. I made two brackets that attach to the wall between the helm and the storage area in front of it and a bracket to attach to the side of the boat. I used very short screws there to make sure not to go through the side. LOL.

                    Will short screws hold?

Great install but If you need heater vents you will need to add a walk through wind screen

Yeah the short screws hold well. They are just for added support to keep the box against the side of the hull. I designed the box to rest on the lip in the hull there so it takes most of the weight. Also the two brackets that attach to the wall behind it give it support. Yep the windscreen is next.

                              Nice work!

I just completed a heater install in my boat, and a heater is a must.

I actually put the heater on the opposite side so that the majority of the heat is for the passengers and I don't have to stretch heater tubes beside the driver's seat or in front of my feet. I have one directly to the left of the driver that stretches across for me, and that seems to work great. It takes away from some storage there, but I figured that I have oodles of storage anyway, and can do without.

On an 03-05 22V/24V, I think ripping out the cooler and putting it under the observer seat would be the bombdiggity.
                              Be excellent to one another.
