2012 Tigé RZ4 Review

We had a great time with this boat for the last couple of months. If you know massive space and a great Tigé wake, this is the boat. The video speaks for itself, happy to answer any questions.

Great video presentation RJ and Rag! We love our RZ4 because of it's size. I would LOVE to have a bow cooler and a garbage can compartment too! We almost always use our bow filler cushion but haven't found the perfect cooler to fit underneath it.

To triple our water time pleasure and keep the women happy we've added a jumbo bimini top. FL sun is intense and after 4 hours of full sun exposure, most occupants have had enough...except the boys of course.

So I concur that the RZ4 is the ultimate big family boat.

Our fuel consumption is in the 3.5 gallons per hour bracket. Wonder why the difference you suppose??

Nobody - we use an American Outdoor soft side cooler under our bow cushion. It is the same one that you can purchase from Tige (the 48-pack size) http://store.tige.com/products/tige-insulated-cooler

It doesn't fill the full length under the bow filler cushion, but it is a great fit for the height and width. Plus, it really does a great job of insulating.

I think you can find them elsewhere, too. But they don't have the pretty Tige embroidered logo. So, I doubt it was made specifically to fit, but it works well.

And - when I said that it doesn't fit the full length under the cushion, I meant that the cooler is shorter than the available space. So it doesn't stick out beyond the cushion.

It would be an ideal winter project to make one from fiberglass, molded right in. Cant be too difficult?? Bigger is better.

@nobody, that bimini is killer. Love it. Looks like it would be sturdy enough to add pockets for surf boards. Who made that bimini?

@Rag, the top was really difficult to design. The boys out at Quality T Tops in Tarpon Springs made it. It took him a long time to find the right angle and look. Travis does really really high end work. Keeping the sun off us is the important over here, and this top does the trick. If Mom, Girlfriend, or mistress aren't happy...Nobody's happy.
