Im not telling anybody what I believe to be faults with other brands, Im telling what I see on a dayly basis in the service departement and on the water experence , Im not a salesmen , I work on them.I could make a pretty good list of problems from the files.
And with show skiing I get to see all the brands get used in competition under some extreem use , not just wakeboarding.
Ive seen ski poles come out of CC, MC, platforms and winshields fall off BU,S, and our 2004 Tige has had its platform hit by another boat in the show and barely bent the bracketts, and now has 1250 grueling hrs, with mulitible drivers.
This is just some of what I base my data on.

Nice shot and jump Robert. I am your same age and admire anyone our age who plays hard too. I only board with no ballast and have a blast and get good air. With the convex vee hull and the taps these boat put out a very good wake without ballast. Now for surfing lets slam it with weight. I would really listen to what a mechanic says as they see all brands and all kinds of useage as boats are brought in for usage. When it comes down to it, test drive and if you can ride behind it and see what you really like. Also if you can let the wife test drive it too.

Dom, I was mainly referring to the OP’s original post where he stated the examples of different dealers telling him faults or concerns of other brands. I like Tige boats and would not hesitate to own another one. When I pay to attend a boat show I don’t want salesmen or boat reps telling me what they think of other brands. In the long run they end up hurting themselves….

        Great Air Robert!!!

X55 is what you want but at $140K....it's simply from another world. RZ4 is my choice.

Let me get some popcorn first, then finish the story about the Dodge that has 300K and not one major repair. I love this part!!!

No, actually it's freezing cold 58F.

Way way way to cold to even look at.

We don't ride until the water reaches 77F, which is the end of April.

Sure to catch all kinds of hell for being chicken Chits, but that's what happens when your spoiled.

I thought you didn't ride till it hit 80. Since you were posting I figured it was because the water was too cold to be out in the boat.

Sorry I thought you were talking about what I said, Ill take a Tige hands down to any brand out there.
I only make comments at shows if the other sales person gives miss information about there boat.

I understand owners of other brands can sometimes initiate these conversations at a show. BTW-I've never heard Tony or Mark, when he was with them, talk about nothing but Tige. I'm the owner of the '12 MXZ that Chpthril was referring to, but who knows we might get back into a Tige one day.

I find it interesting that several people have jumped shipped from Malibu. One of the big ones is Chris Chrysdale who now works for...Tige!

In my industry you see people move around from company to company. Some times ending up back where they started or have previously been. I find it interesting that they once talked bad about company x and now work for them. I guess it is no different than a dealer going from one brand to another. Some times it has nothing to do with being good or bad.
