The BEAST, PCM 6.0L 409 - Anyone a Beach Boys Fan?
Completed Dash with the Carlotta steering wheel. They also changed the location of the ignition. My 22Ve was on the left side of the wheel.
Transom shot with the Engine hatch open. Love the gray and stainless rub rail that we chose. Thanks Tony for pointing out that we had options on color here.

A few thoughts:
That hose isn't staying on the protective tape in pic #2.
Is that the ballast valve access door in the center, below the rear seat cushion in pic #3? The white door? That thing's huge! I like its positioning though, no pulling the seat if you need to get in there quickly. (If it's not the access door, then how do you get to the valves? The round underseat hatch isn't there.)
I strongly approve of moving the keyswitch to the right of the wheel - away from the aisleway. Ewok's RZ2 has it there too. My 24Ve has it on the left, and more than once I've had a rambunctuous child bump into it. I live in dread of that key getting busted off in the ignition switch. Moving it rightward resolves that nicely.
Anyone worry they'll stub their toe on that tow ring?
Interesting side hatch door management in that last shot. I see that the little doors can rise to some degree while leaving the engine hatch closed, but they seem too narrow for full aft locker access. What happens there? Do you have to open two hatches to gain full width access to the aft lockers?

You can get to the ballast pumps, but you can also get to the fresh water strainer, and the flush kit hookup.

The engine hatch is very different this year. Underneath the smaller hatches is storage, and these same hatches hold down the center sun pad section, which can be flipped for either a full sun pad, or a walk through. These are attached to the engine hatch. The rear locker doors are still to side of the engine hatch to give access to the rear lockers.

On the 343 hp PCM you can access your freshwater strainer and ballast pumps through the white access door.You can also check V-Drive and Transmission fluid.That floor section comes up for great access to fuel tank,steering cable,fuel filter,ballast pumps,V-drive,trans and rear drains on catanium exhaust.The beach boys were referring to a 409 cid motor in the early 60's Chevys,i don't think Johnny was around then.LOL Boat looks great.I love the color combo.I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.
