I came into work this morning and Jean from Tige had started a thread of pics of our boat. Since this thread already has more info in it, I will keep this one updated as I get more pics.

But here are the first two that Jean already posted up...

Foreground is our hull, and in the background is our deck being pushed into the gel coat booth. Awesome shot!

First color of gel coat - Stone (Silver) in the hull. Still can't get over just how big this hull looks in the pictures.

You think its big in the pick? It looks small in this pic to me when compared to actual size! Man your going to sh!t when you see it in person. This boat is HUGE. I got to go out in one for a 2nd time and I am overwhelmed by the size of this boat. Think big brother because it is. It drives soooo nice too. You are going to love this thing.

A bigger hull makes a bigger wake, and this one was optimized to do exactly that. Yahoooooo!

They are big with lots of freeboard. You'll love it. Cant wait to hear back about wave and wake size of the new design. Will be very interesting.

                  You must be getting giddy.

Is that engine hatch really that thick? I don't mean the overall dimension, I mean the thickness of the fiberglass itself. Not that its a bad thing, it just looks extra chunky. Campbell's Chunky.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I am almost certain that is just the mold for the engine hatch. I don't think any gel coat has been sprayed or fiberglass laid yet in the picture.

Crazy excited to start seeing this thing come together!

That is the mold of the engine hatch, not the actual engine hatch. Glad to hear you are enjoying the pictures. I'll send more today of the lamination stage!

That engine hatch is thick and very heavy!

Start to finish, how long does it take to fabricate a brand new Tige? If and when the day comes for a(nother) new boat, I'm wondering if it would be practical to just make it a family vacation to go to the factory and be there every day to watch the process. Heck of an education and very memorable.

I think it is roughly 3 weeks from spray to rolling off the line. So not a practical family vacation, but it would be pretty cool!

More pics from Jean yesterday... It is awesome to get this many pictures of the build process!

                                Lamination going in the hull

                                Deck Lamination going on...

Tige Lifeplus Core Stronger being fiberglassed into place...

                                The floor finished up...

Next up, hull and deck are removed from the molds and we get to see some colors!
