    Wake Boards

Any tips for buying my first board?

    #2
Just get something thats comfortable and easy to learn on.

If your going to a shop, let them know it will be your first board so they can get one that will fit best.

Probably something wide, with a continuous rocker, and good tracking whether it be fins, channels, or both.

Some shops will let you demo. Just like a boat, demo before you buy it. There is a huge difference in the way different boards ride and feel...

Your dealer has let me demo boards in the past at no charge, just a deposit against possible damage.

Continuous rocker is a great idea for beginners. I would simply buy a high end wakeboard that has removable fins and you can find what you want by changing fins. I have loved this wakeboard:

I have the longer version (140) and it still is very fun to ride.
          Be excellent to one another.

Go to www.wakeworld.com and click on the Board Wizard on the left side of the page. You can then enter your weight and skill level and they will recommend several boards that you can demo to find the right one.
