I didn't think the Response was capable of a wake regardless.

Well, you're not doing yourself any favors on this one J. Most of us are tired of tubers and their lack of common courtesy and by defending them, you are lumping yourself in with them. Tubers will never get respect from riders because well, its just not a respectable activity. It takes zero skill and screws up the water for everybody else. Our activities don't effect you, your activities effect us. That's the line and tubers cross it constantly. Riders will always hate tubers because of it. Me included.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

        This ^^^

The tuber mentality or lack there of is beyond me.

My kids will only be allowed behind the boat if they're standing on something.

          We have to co-exist.

When we speak of mentality, it would probably be a good idea to remember that everyone has one. In the eyes of others (as I've pointed out,) some come across as self-righteous as well as entitled.

It has nothing to do with any line - it is a matter that we share the water.

It is also not about doing myself a favor, it is a matter of doing my kids and their friends a favor - I bought them a boat and a tube and that results in memories and smiles they will take forward forever.

There is no winner to this "argument" - at least there can be the hope of understanding and adaptation - life will be more enjoyable. If not possible, I suggest buying into private water where you don't have to share with tubers.

Most I've seen seem to pull tubes in the same ovals as other forms of being pulled anyway. There are fewer who tube like we do and I dare suggest a very, very few that engage in exerting an uncanny level of skill to captain a performance machine like our 22i to the brink of its capabilities (speed control, direction control, water control, rope control, tube control, all balanced with safety) in a 5 minute tubing session - every time.

          Merry Christmas!
