I ordered my truck in Jan. Took Delivery in March. I now have 19,000 miles on my truck, towed the boat about 4,000 miles this past summer averaged 12 mpg in the flats and 10 in the hills. The truck is AWESOME. Everything it is supposed to be and then some. I get about 17-19 around town some city some highway driving in each tank. And yes it is an Ecoboost 4x4 6.5 bed trailer tow and max trailer tow packages 3.73 gears. SYNCFriends don't let friends POWERTURN

I'm getting 25 MPG in mixed driving, ~22-23 when towing our 24Ve. That's on a bone-stock Cummins 5.9L in a 2006 Dodge 3500. She just rolled over 66K miles, not even broken in yet.
BTW, I also have over 700 miles of range with the standard 34 gallon factory tank.
All in good fun, folks! Drive what you like, as long as it's enough.

I would get a diesel but my wife drives the SUV mostly, it's her daily driver and I don't think she would like a diesel. I got a text from my wife yesterday that said "If we had to get a bigger SUV, what would tow the boat?" So guess what I've been doing since then?2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.

Besides, if it's a bigger vehicle, I'd think it would only have more towing capacity and there'd be no question.
