I seriously love my F150 with ecoboost. My wife also loves driving it over her 2008 4DR Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. It tows the RZ4 with EASE. Oh and my idiot son you see in the pics can even drive it. ;-)
A friend of mine has an ecoboost. He's had it for 6 months and can't keep it out of the shop. Transmission not shifting right, sync problems, and the towing fuel economy stinks. Have any of you guys had these issues?
All of the reviews talk about the fuel economy towing, its not meant to be diesel. I got about 8-9 mpg but going up and down hills from NorCal over mountains and then down 95 all the way to parker AZ averaging 75-80 towing the 24Ve. Transmission has been perfect, I have about 7k on it now. The transmission has actually been amazing the way it slows the vehicle down as needed.
Sync can do some weird things, but its a typical microsoft product, its not as intuitive as it should be and you have to get into the settings and get a bit geeky with it, but it works great. I found I had to set the phonebook to auto download, and then I always had my contacts recognized through voice command.
Only issue I had was once driving down a back road and went to pass a car, hit it, up to 80+ plus and then it started to vibrate and the check engine light came on. I slowed down, still vibrated. About 5-10 minutes later it just fixed itself and light came on. I need to take it in to see about that, but only that one time.

We've had ours for 3 months with no issues with the transmission or sync or anything else, and we have not towed with it yet but honestly torque and HP were higher on our list than fuel economy. Wife loves her truck so I'm happy,
