Jet Pilot or Molded Competition Vests

I ordered a XL-2XL Jet Pilot Comp Vest but unfortunately it didn’t fit. Does anyone know if these run very small? I wear an L-XL in normal shirts etc....this vest was an XL-2XL I could barely get the zipper to the top.

Any knowledge would be helpful...or another brand that runs a little bigger.

I have the Falcon in a L and I normally wear XL shirts. Here's the thing that I have found with ALL neo vests, they are small when they are dry but as soon as they get wet, they stretch. My buddy has the XL version and I put that on dry and it was nice and tight and then I took a set and was swimming in the stupid thing because it stretched so much.

Competition Wakeboard vests

Jet Pilot over the head (or zip up the side) all run SUPER small. I wear an an XL Hyperlite JD Webb competition vest thats just perfect on dry, but also have a XXL jet pilot I cant even zip up on me (Im 235lbs). If you want a bigger comp vest, hyperlite in my experience has the biggest truest sizes out there, Body glove would be next in line.

I have a jet pilot because I got a great deal and they run WAY toooo small. But I wanted a side zip and not a pull over and I got it cheap.
