    Finally Winterized The RZ2

Well, we were hoping for one last good weekend however, busy schedules, vacation to Florida & Virgin Islands...not to mention out of town for Turkey day; we ended up missing out on some of the last "decent" days New Mexico had to offer.
Now snow is forecasted which is bringing in some night lows in the 20's Soo.. I had to do it
I didn't go all out, mostly covered the basics.
Oil change, pulled all plugs (I found six), disconnected heater hoses, vacuumed out all the water still in the convex hull.
Btw..the fake lake works great! And I can't believe how quiet the 5.7 PCM engine is! I saw some YouTube vids of other master craft & tige running on the trailer with the dual exhausts and they seemed really cammy & loud! This thing purred like a kitten!

Good night sweet Tige, sweet dreams... Let’s hope for an early Spring! Late March early April?

It's always a sad day to winterize and put the boat away for the year. This is kinda funny however, we had to winterize 3 months ago in South Dakota. You say you have some nights down into the 20's.... we have some days that don't even break into the 20's!! haha

Which end of the heater hoses did you disconnect?Did you drain the transmission cooler or the block? How about the exhaust manifolds?

yep got the tranny, water pump, engine block (knock sensors) and manifold plugs. I dissconnected both hoses going to the heater and blew they clear (with my lungs) and even blew out the heater core itself with a little piece of hose.
I've been running Stabil for the last few trips to the lake to make sure I had the entire fuel system treated in preparation for storage. Oh yeah, got the strainer out too.
Now on the next nice day I've got to get into it and tighten the front right cleat (It came loose and is about to rattle off)!
