Tige offers 2012 R20 for Toys For Tots fundraiser

Tige Boats has again offered a factory direct new boat build for WakeWorld's annual fundraising auction to benefit Toys For Tots. They have placed a 2012 R20 for auction with the low reserve price of $35,000. Way to go, Tige! What a fantastic offer to help a great cause!

If anyone knows someone who is interested in purchasing a new R20 (or RZR if you upgrade the options), please have them check into this and place a bid. Here is the WakeWorld page with all the auction items: http://www.wakeworld.com/news/featur...er.html?page=2
And here is the auction page for the Tige R20: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/?cmd=...K%3AMESCX%3AIT

The auction only runs until Weds 11/30/2011, so if you are interested, hurry up for the chance to get an amazing deal on a Tige built to your specs while helping out a worthy charity.

Great job again, Tige, for offering such a generous deal!

I understand that people will wait until the last minute to place bids in hopes of avoiding a bidding war, but damn... Only 26 hours left on the auction, and not a single bid has been placed on the boat

The auction for the brand new Tige R20 just ended, and no one bid - I can't believe it. The trailer was not included - how much do you a trailer would cost? It also says it is the base model - I wonder what would need to be added?

No trailer and base model - is this why no one bid?

I do not think enough time (5 days) was allowed to get the word out during Thanksgiving week ! I would think if someone wanted an R20 or upgrade RZR this would have beeen a great opportunity! I base model trailer would not cost more that 4,000 - 5,000 dollars.

I think Wakeworld did not advertise it well. I always go to the forum pages and I never even knew the fundraiser was going until I stumbled across a wakeboard on Ebay. The wakeboard went for about dealer cost, so it did not sell well either. Knowing it was for a good cause, I might have even been willing to spend a little more. But I was out of town when the auction ended, and it just escaped my mind.

I think WW flopped by not putting a sticky thread at the top of every forum to let the folks know this stuff was out there.

Wakeworld kind of messed up this year. Usually the Toys for Tots auction is the first thing you see on their home page but not this year and there weren't sticky's at the top of each discussion forum either.
