Hey guys looking for input on how many people have removed there ski pylon that is behind the back seat? I'm setting up my boat for almost all surfing and can't think of when I would use it. Also if I take it out it will allow me to mount three ballast pumps on the back of the seat.

I use mine as a target to throw the handle onto when I'm surfing, like playing ring toss.2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.

The only draw back that I could see would be if you ever sold it. Some people may want the pylon.
Robert does not have one either. I believe that they actually cut the hole and then patched it. He has a RZ2 but he might be able to give you some insight as to what they did to patch it.Comment

It looks like it would be an easy bolt back in If I ever sell it. It really comes down to where Im going to mount my 3 ballast pumps for the rear set up. With it out I can mount all three on the back of the seat.Comment
