Oil Bath VS. Grease Bearing Buddies...

As some of you know I did the write up on the oil bath seal removal/replace. Im a mechanic by trade and meticulously maintain everything I own.
We have owned both oil bath and bearing buddy grease type bearings. I have never had more trouble than the oil bath bearings.
Because of this I am constantly checking them.
Here are some good times from this season:
(5 miles from pulling boat from launch ramp)
The jury is still out on this one. Possible caliper hung up, causing overheated hub, melted seal, lost oil and BAMMMM!!!Bad decisions make good stories.

This was after a trip back from Havasu. IMG_3315.jpgIMG_3316.jpgIMG_3317.jpg
I have 3 oil bath hubs and one bearing buddy. The bearing buddy blew out. I am contemplating changing out all of them to grease. I assume the spindle on the bearing blowout will have to be changed. If I convert the remaining wheels to grease bearing buddy's, will I need to change the spindles as well? Also, I am having a hard time finding out exactly what parts will be needed to make the conversion. Anyone have a good site in mind? River Runner any chance I could bounce some ideas off you? We park our boat at storage in Corona but I live in Irvine. Thx!
