Our 07 Speedset has worked flawlessly. It's a marriage saver: you wife won't kill you when she's driving while you are boarding and going either too fast or too slow; and when she yells at you that you are going too fast, just feign that you are touching the speed buttons down.

Moving from 20 to 24? I did that, and although there is some driving lessons to learn, esp maneuvering at slow speed, the extra room is priceless when you need it. When you have 8 big guys on boy's weekend, you'll appreciate the extra length & width of a 24.

Also agree with the counter-intiutive notion that it is better own a boat with higher hours because it has been used and therefore probably cared for better. A 24v with only 97 hours.... hmmm. It should have had 97 hours in it's first 2 years.... That 22v looks interesting--if you are in Texas, it'd be good to see in person. They are all yellow...

We surf behind our 24ve, but I got the CHPTHRIL special Enzo Bags. Once you have those, it is very easy. The 24v may have more storage, but the 24ve has a TON of storage.

    Good luck deciding.

I like the looks of that one better as well. The tower is pretty neat too.

$36,900 CDN...how much is that in real dollars?

After mentioning the transom differences I notice it now. I thought it was just the addition of the lockers but the shape is a big diff. So mid 07 changed to the better cruise? When did the start the Tige touch? I cant seem to find the classified section on this forum either. Am I overlooking it? Thanks for all the input guys, very helpful.

              Here is the classifieds: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=34

Tigetouch was '09 or '10 I believe, and it was an option.

Mine is an early '07 and have the "better" cruise.

My 05 has perfect pass. It's been rock solid. This boat is local to me in north idaho. I believe olingermarine.com has it.

Long live the V. Perfect pass has worked flawlessly on my 24. Solid boat. Can't go wrong with either boat though
                    Let it be!!!

I have a patent on your quote Long Live the V mister.
Scroll down to the bottom of the post below. I will say the sloped transom makes it harder to put wakeboards on.

I love being able to hide surfboards in my 24v lockers! It's one of my favorite parts of my boat.

Well my debate now is a RZ4 and the VE. Average list price I've seen on the VE is 37,000 for 06-07, the RZ4 list around 50,000. Found an 07 for 43,000 local. Now were talking good price. Whats the average going cost on each of these boats?

That is going to vary by region and supply. Some of this has to do with the fact the in some regions the boats are selling for more off the MSRP than others, so they will naturally be cheaper in the resale. It seems like the RZ was about 10 - 15 grand more than the Ve when I was searching. I would check NADA and see what they have for price. The other is just to search a bunch of different boat sale sites to see what you can find.
