What happened to Fall...?

What they heck is going on with the weather? It was 90 degrees last weekend, and now the local Sierra mountains look like this.

A picture taken from this morning at Sugar Bowl. Moose hows your boat doing? Aren't you near Norden? I helped pull out a sail boat out of Tahoe on Monday, and the buoy's are looking quite empty out there. I guess it is time to grab the wetsuits and get the tele skis ready.

This is perfect in my opinion. We only need two seasons: Hot summers (lakes and rivers) and cold winters (snow). Spring and Fall just get in the way.

We also only need two types of weather: Clear skies with bright sunshine, and snowing. With all of the snowing occurring at night, reverting to clear skies with bright sunshine during the day.

It's supposed to be back in the 70's here on th east side of the Sierras this weekend. Just a crazy storm. I've been keeping an eye on one little patch of snow up there, just to see if we would make it through the entire summer with "snow in the mountains". We made it.

I'm sure moose is busy shovling snow.

After 50s and 60s in StL, this weekend is 85 abnd sunny. Of course, we have to go out of town to visit family. Sigh. Would have been a great boat weekend.

This year was crazy for CA. 150% of snow pack at the beginning of the year to a mild spring and summer.
