This year I would sort of like to go all year round. Have done that before. But water gets to as low at 42 degrees here and that does a number on the hands and feet.

Those are great pics of the kids having fun on the water.

The one with her arms in the air reminds me of some sort of 'water princess' imitation.

Great pics! 74 degree water is all we really get to at our big lake! I won't be the last one, our lakes freeze over completely.

There is people in my area that go all year but we usually take a break from Thanksgiving till mid March just to do a few winter hobbies to change it up, camping, golfing, shooting, etc. We made even add a trip to CO this year.

We are in central Louisiana....just move from wa state. Yesterday was like late July in Seattle. The water was perfect temp. I will probably put it up after thanksgiving as well for a couple of months just to do other stuff and get a couple of seats redone. If the water is cold get a drysuit. We have drysuits for everyone. Anyways...here is how I rolled last October

I can't believe you can still get some use out of Empire. We are on the south shore and have been done since the weekend before labor day. We are always the first ones that can't launch since our cove is so shallow.
Is there still all that stringy seaweed growing on the east side of the lake? That stuff drove me crazy this year, I had to get good at holding my breath so I could clean out the prop 10 times a day.
