Lake Mead Owners Reunion 2011 Pics and Video

So I created a set of a bunch of pictures we took. We didn't get the first few riders, like XP Jim, but we got him on video, and I will post that soon. But here is a flickr set, please grab pics of each and post with names. I remember most of the names, but not all, so I feel stupid if I only post the ones I remember. Sorry, I am horrible, and I had to remember handles also. :roll eyes:

The water was beautiful but weather was nuts, glass, windy, choppy, then glass for a bit, then so so, it was all over the map. Fun day, and loved meeting everyone.

It was an AWESOME time as usual It was great to see old friends and meet some new folks like Sincity and also finally meet Ragboy in person. Thanks, for bringing your 24Ve and all the boards. One day never seems like enough to get around and visit with everyone for much time.

We took about 500 pics between 2 cameras and they are still on the SD cards. Once we get home, I will get them downloaded to the PC and uploaded to Photobukcet and get some posted here. For the bulk of them, I will probably put them on a disk and mail them to whoever the subject was.

Friday was butter all day long. I did not get any great pics, but will post up what I got in a few days.

I never got around to surfing Ragboy's boat, but he was able to loan me a surfboard, and it was awesome to try out one I had never been on before.

We had such a fun weekend - at least for most of it. Friday night was a little sketchy as we boated around in the dark on a moonless night looking for a group of campers, only to give up, head to Echo marina, and find out that no one was camping due to the lack of sandy shoreline. Oh well - we were able to sleep on the roof of a floatel, which worked out great.

My boys and I spent Saturday and Sunday riding around with anyone who would have us - mostly on the Z3, the Wake9 24Ve, and Bad05's 24V. What a great way to spend a weekend, meeting new people, catching up with those we knew, riding behind different boats on different boards. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing.

Huge thanks go to Bad05 for doing a fantastic job of organizing the event and lining up sponsors. And thanks also to all the generous sponsors. Ben Pigeon and Tige for coming by with the new Z3 and allowing us all to check it out and try it out - just amazing. Ragboy and his family for their appearance, pulls, boards and riding tips. Finally I want to express my deep appreciation to everyone for their patience and tolerance with my boys. They were running around the whole time, talking everyone's ears off, eating everything in sight, and having a blast. Thank you to all for showing them a great time. I think that my boys now want to go live with either Ben or Ragboy.

Finally I want to express my deep appreciation to everyone for their patience and tolerance with my boys. They were running around the whole time, talking everyone's ears off, eating everything in sight, and having a blast.

One of the highlights of this reunion is to see your two boys and how much they have grown in the past year. Patience and tolerance are not required, they are so fun to watch and associate with.

Just a word of warning, enjoy them all you can now because before you know it they will be "all grown up" and moving on in their lives.

it was nice to put a face to everybody, and a real pleasure to meet all of you, bad 05 did a great job of organizing, thank you, we all need to get together more than once a year, especially since there are several of us that do powell trips, we need to get together at powell, my kids are grown and gone which means i have a spare bedroom and a casita on the side of the house, so if anybody wants to come to vegas or lake mead, i always have room, plus lake season is not over here, it will be good all of october. it was fun checking out all the stereo's.
