Ewok - when I asked the dealer about platform rattle he called Tige and they said the bolts were the only ways to stop the platform from rattling.

The bolts are probably dual purpose levelers and anti-rattlers...

I can see how they might stop rattling. My point was I haven't tightened them down and I haven't lost them, when it appears that if you tighten them to help fight the rattle, then they eventually work loose and end up lost.

Maybe after y'all tighten them down you could put a piece of waterproof duct tape over the heads to keep them from falling out.

My platform doesn't even have those. I don't notice it rattling without them.

My platform rattles a little when I first start the engine as I'm taking it off the trailer but that is it, about 5-10 seconds worth. I guess the water pressure on the platform pushes it back into place and then its solid with no rattles, that's been my experience.

This summer I lost three of these bolts, but if I compare with my previous boat rattle, I still think it's a great feature.
No rattle at all when properly screwed.
