    new boat

So Im looking at new boats in the 20ft range and have it narrowed to 3. Tige R20, Axis A20, Moomba outback V. I would like to get some feedback.

Unbiased feedback. Do you have those dealers close to you? Do you have a relationship with any of them or have any knowledge of them good or bad? You may want to consider the above in your search.

I have a Tige Dealer within 15 miles, Axis and Moomba are about 100 miles away. Im not close with any of the dealers and am leaning toward Tige R20, 5.7 engine, 1600 surf tanks, pretty well loaded for 48k. Moomba 42k and Axis loaded 51k.

what will the boat be used for?

The r20 and a20 were both on our list when we were looking and we ended up with the rzr (same hull as r20) and have been very pleased with the boats wake, design, functionality, realiability, and quality. that 1600lbs goes a long way in that 20 foot hull...

IMO-A dealer relationship is definitely a major contributing factor. Go, in talk to each one, remember you are about to spend 50k +/- on a boat, they should be taking care of you not the other way around.

Looks like you already have your answer.

Damn that's 30 miles closer than my TIGE dealer..hell that's real close. If you ever need a part pronto it'll be a snap.

Let's just hope that TIGE dealer is a good one. Ask around...maybe go there and talk to customers coming out of the service OR the parts dept...get i spy on their a*s'. See how long the sales people have worked there... Talk to mechanics 'out back'...

I realize you are looking for a 20 footer, but you might want to take a look at this A22 in TN. I also know of a A22 promo boat in NC if interested.

I personally know the owner of this one, but don't know what he's asking. It's a promo boat too.

I finally decided on a new boat. After many test drives of Tige, Moomba and Axis I went with a 2011 Axis A22. Thanks for all the input in this forum And this was a tough decision to make but after everything was all said and done I feel like that I got the boat I wanted. My new a22 is loaded it has all options that I could get from axis and I was able to stay under 50k it was a dealer demo with 30 hours so I got a great deal.

Congratulations! I'm glad you found a boat that will work for you. You should post up a picture for us to check out!

Congrats. Pics would be nice, even if it is not a Tige. This site tends to be a little less militant than some of the others. It always helps to have more information as to what is out in the marketplace, so as to have a more informed decision when buying a boat.

My experience is that there will be things I like and don't like about the A22...and the same is true of any boat I have been in.
                            Be excellent to one another.

I agree Tall. There's always going to be something each person would change.

Congrats on the new boat. Hope it ends up being a great boat for you.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.
