Congratulations John! I'm sure the Tigeowners will help with names.
      We have four sons:
Ronald Lee - goes by Ronnie
      Danial Adams
      Benjamin Louis - nicknamed Benj
      Andrew Seth

Don't forget to consider their initials. We didn't realize until afterwards Benj is a B.L.T.(Bacon,Lettuce,Tomato)sandwich. He wants to name a wakeboard trick the B.L.T. one day!

            First off Congrats!

Our oldest son - Conner (7yrs) He was supposed to have the name Cotter but we changed our minds right when we had to sign the hospital release papers. The two main reasons for changing to Conner my boss's last name is Cotter, and the TV show Welcome Back Cotter.

Our youngst son- Breckem (4yrs) We liked Beckham but did not want to name him after someone famous. We liked Brecken but thought it was too feminine. So we combined the two.

            Probably does not help!

My wife and I both go by our middle names so we did the same to our kids...
Their first names are John, Jack, and Maia... But everyone calls them by their middle names:
                  Connor
                  Ryan
                  Hollyn

Our twin boys are Aidan Andrew and Riley Anton. Middle names were family names, but first names we simply liked the sound and rhythm with our last name, plus they were not common but not bizarre. The other name that was in the running was Alexander.

Aidan Dingleberry.. It has a real "Hollywood" feel to it.

Cornelius is one of my favorites.

I am a physician and deliver babies and I have seen some doozies over the years.

People I know or have delivered:

                              Lucifer,
                              Demon (pronounced dee-moan)
                              Jaycub

I am sure others will come to mind, but IMHO, if you give the kid a traditional name (like Jacob), don't make him suffer through the rest of his life having to spell it out all the time.

And the greatest was Shithead...it was supposed to sound sort of biblical and is pronounced shi-the-ee-ad. Imagine the 'ead' like in Gilead.
                              Be excellent to one another.
