Have a 2011 R20. The last few times we've hit the buttons to empty the ballast tanks (have 4 totalling 900 lbs) a ton of water has drained out when we never filled up the tanks to begin with. Is this something we should worry about? Just concerned that it didn't drain this much when we first got the boat, and not sure where all this water is coming from.

You may have some passive filling going on. This would require reconfiguring the fill hoses or possible adding anti-siphon valves. Next time out, make sure the tanks are indeed empty, then close the ball-valves before hitting the water. If no water is found to have entered the tanks, then you know where is was coming from.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Do the coolers (we have stock rear cooler and optional bow cooler) drain into the ballast tanks?

I do not believe the coolers will drain into the ballast tanks.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
