Ace Protec Wake is the way to go. Here is a pic of mine! Nice and comfy, keeps your head warm in cold weather, and protects you when you take the ultimate whomp.

I didn't know Tige made pontoon boats. Where do they put the TAPS on that thing?

the only thing bad that i have heard about helmets is that it creates more surface area and slows your head down and holds it back when it hits the water, i've heard of possible neck injurie's from big crashes, like a raley faceplant

Laketime, sounds like a good theory, but I think in practicality, it probably does not pan out. The rate at which your head sinks into the water is dependent on the surface area, the % of surface area increase with a helmet is probably not enough to make that much difference.

yeah its just some things from some people that i've heard. i cant imagine a helmet hurting anything. we bought a helmet last year but i never whear it. but i was definatly planning on it this year when i try a raley, and that issue came came about when i met nick whieneker(tige pro rider)at the boat show and talked about some new triks for this year, he was even saying it could brake your neck if you slammed hard enough, but i just found that hard to beleive. he's a cool guy though, knows his stuff about tige and wakeboarding
