    NEW Swim Platform???

Does anyone know if the new swim decks (fiberglass) can be put on a 99 21i???

I have the standard teak now but I would love to upgrade to a newer, glass one. Any help is appreciated!!!

I seriously doubt it. You could always jimmy-jack it on there but, the shape of your stern is never going to match the shape of a new boat. Teak is better anyways.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I may just redo my teak then and shape it like a newer fiberglass one, I just think the shape makes it look more up to date for some reason

That would be the thing to do.

So where is the best kind of place to try and find some wood to make the new teak? does it really have to be teak wood would or could you make it out of just about any real hard wood and seal it real good? I have access to a saw mill and plenty of trees, just wondering if I could do something like mahogany, cherry, or even a real dark red oak and only have one solid slab cut, sanded and mounted then work on the stain and sealant.

Mahogany would be awesome. Cherry, too soft. Oak, way too open of a grain pattern. Mahogany is used in marine applications all the time. Its a little spendy but, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful woods on the planet. You're never going to get a piece big enough to do it in one piece though. The trees just ain't that big. You might be able to two piece it though.

There used to be a specialty wood supplier on West Blvd in Charlotte, opposite side of Billy Graham from the airport, that I have gotten teak from.
