That happened to me once, in the intercoastal salt water. Live and learn. When our boat got beached with decided to have a blast and make fun of our idle time (and stupidity). Broke out the birthday cake for my son and starting eating. Bad times and be the absolute most memorable fun times if we can see the humor in our error. Others around us will appreciate it too. Another memorable time was when my son grounded the boat cause he drifted out of the channel. We told him 3 times to get to the left. Didn't listen. We had a blast and laughed our asses off all night long. To this day my son laughs about his mishap, it's made him a much better boater.

You are right it probably made him a much better boater because he learned the hard way. From experience. That is how I learn too, but for some reason I keep wrecking props.

Too funny! We wrecked 4 props our first year. Since then we haven't wrecked any.
