It's Parker just up from Buckskin and the story is he was floating with his family and didn't see the rock, got stuck then the water level dropped, had to wait until the next morning for the water to rise before he could get it off.
As long as he was just floating, there would probably be minimal damage, but a lot of embarrassment. Like it was said, it would be a lot worse if he was moving and that thing stopped him.
Certainly would make for some nice picture opportunities, the water must have been dropping pretty fast for him not to be able to get it off before it was too late.
The sight of someone sitting in the boat the next day, waiting for the water to rise enough to float off had to be pretty funny.

Water doesn't drop that fast. I think it was the current that pinned him on the rock or wedged with fins in the rocks.
Parker dam is hydroelectric, so its release is based on power needs. Typically the river is deepest from 3pm to 9pm and most shallow from midnight to 10 am, hence why these morning pictures have the Tige so far out of the water.
Hmmm... if it can lean like that OUT of the water, I'm not going to worry so much about overballasting when IN the water. Load up another 1000 pounds, please! {grin}
