    Cheap flood lights

Going to a lakehouse with for guy weekend next week, last time we did some night surfing (private lake), but the wakesetter's halogen lights did a surprisingly poor job of lighting the wake. I have an underwater led on my boat, and am trying think of cheap ways of creating a flood light. I saw some compact flourescent and LED flood lights putting out off about a 1000 lumens. Thinking about getting a dc power inverter and hooking up a cheap house vanity 3 or 4 bulb bar and putting the CFL/LED in them, I have a spare battery as well as a 2 battery setup in boat.

Seems to easy, trying to find out if that is feasible, only need about 2 hours or so of light
The worst day of boating is still the better than the best day of work......, unless you bend your prop.

In addition to whatever tower lights you have, get one of those handheld, rechargeable super bright spotlights. When a rider goes down, it is one passenger's job to hit the rider with the spotlight and keep it trained on the rider till the boat gets back.

Got the glowsticks, did that last year, also got a 3 million candlewatt spot light, but looking for something for illumination of the surfwave. I think my idea will work, but very ignorant when it comes to electricity
