looking for a boat (first time)

    Hey Guys,
im looking to buy a Tige R20 , this will be my first boat, my tige dealer make me a price (47,5k canadians dollars) for a 2011 R20 with the trailer

is this a good deal or should i wait for the 2012 and buy this winter?

If they will have one in stock during the winter months I bet you will get a better deal. They should be desparate to sell one then more than likely. Are you against going the pre owned route? There are usually some sick deals on pre owned stuff during the winter.

I'd say buy it now and start using it! If you buy it in the winter, you will have to wait until June of next year before you can even start using it! Good luck!

not sure how dealers in Canada handle warranty for new boats which is typically one yr. Something to think about and ask is if u buy in winter say January but boat does not get launched til May then 4-5 mos of warranty have expired and the boat has never been wet thus burning up warranty time before u can use. May not be a large factor but perhaps something to think about

It seems cheap. I'd buy it. Get them to throw in a wake surfer and some sacs with a pump.

Regardless of what time you would buy it a one year warranty is going to cover exactly the same summer months.
