    Presets on 2009 Tige SpeedSet cruise control?

    This came up in another thread, but after searching here and on Google I cannot find anything on it.

    I've been told, and also heard rumors of, there being five(?) preset memories available on circa 2009 SpeedSet systems. Is this true? How do you access them? I've been through the menu system and can't find anywhere to program them.

    Thanks!

    BTW, the other thread is doing a great job of handling this topic. So far, though, we haven't been able to edit the names of the presets... they show as "Memory 1", etc. and the "two button" action doesn't highlight them on my boat. Not a huge deal, but if someone knows another method of editing the name that was used on other firmware versions I'd sure appreciate hearing it. Thanks!

      I think I read once that when you use the main battery disconnect switch the presets are erased, that's why I never bothered to figure it out.

        Doesn't seem to be true on my boat. You know I have dual battery switches, and I turn them off every single night. I set the presets yesterday, and today when we went out midafternoon the values were still there. It appears they are in nonvolatile memory, or at least residual capacitance is enough to hold them for ~24 hours! {grin}
