Bummer bummer bummer. I hate to do it but we Sharpied all our boards because of baddies grabbing stuff from docks.

            Sucks, sucks and sux.

Now I have more incentive to build that board rack for the garage.

Good luck on a getting a fast resolution.
The luck is gone, the brain is shot, but the liquor we still got.

That sucks, sorry to hear that. I live outside city limit's and don't even leave any boards in the boat.
I'm on a boat man. I got my flippy floppies....

                *** UPDATE ***

I got a call from the Sparks PD today. A mother in the surrounding neighborhood called in, and explained that she thinks her son is possession of a stolen wakeboard. The Sparks PD called me to confirm what my board looked like, and asked if I had any pictures of it that I could drop off.

They haven't found the other items, but they think this kid might know who stole my gear.

I find out in two days if it's mine. WOO HOO!!

Sorry you had your stuff stolen!! I can't imagine what I would do if I caught someone getting into my stuff in the middle of the night. I suspect those that were attempting to steel would be lost forever! Doubt it will help but I will keep my eyes peeled up here in Oregon.

I just got back from the PD, and I have my wakeboard! The punk kids aren't admitting to the surfboard or the rest of my stuff. The detective on my case said that most likely the stuff is long gone, or they ditch it all when the first kid was caught. So it's a 50/50 chance that I will get my other stuff back.

We just had a small crime spree up here at Donner summit. The cops caught what they call the Lawn Chair Bandits..These scumbags were driving along the i80 corridor hitting every exit from Auburn to Truckee taking stuff off of folks front yards/porch. They had a stolen UHAUL truck...fukers! I'm right off the freeway thank god I keep my garage closed/locked. I believe they were caught

So there is a bit of a twist now. The kids are 15 and 17. The mother of the one who called in is not talking with the PD anymore, because it seems her son was involved. The mother thought she was getting her son's punk friend in trouble, but it seems she actually turned in her son without knowing it. The night they stole stuff from my boat one of them left / dropped their iphone headphones in my boat. I noted this in my report. The Sparks PD baited a question to the mother asking her if her son was missing a pair of headphones for his iphone. Her response.... Yes, he is been turning the house over looking for them. BAM! I have the headphones in my boat, and just turned them into the Sparks PD today. Because of this the mom is no longer cooperating with the police. SUCKA!!!!!!!!!!
