    ALL MY STUFF GOT JACKED!!!

I am standing beside myself at the moment. I normally keep my boat stored in a somewhat secure location here in the Reno area, and I would like to believe that I live in a nice neighborhood. I decided to leave my boat out in front of the house for one extra day because the boat was going in for it's 20 hour service today.

As I walked out to head to work this morning I noticed that the back part of the cover wasn't on. I thought to myself, "Well, that's odd. I thought I put that back on when I was done cleaning it Sunday. Hmm...." As I walked closer it became very clear what had occurred. They got away with my wakeboard, both surfboards, one of my ballast bags and the pump that I borrowed, and all of our life vests. I guess I should feel lucky that they didn't take the tube or any of my ropes.

So I filled a report with the PD just in case they get lucky and find these buttholes. Just tallied up the damage. They got away with just over $2k worth of stuff out of my boat. UUUUUGH!

so sorry to hear..... that really stinks. I know it doesn't make up for it, but I wounder if your home owners or boat insurance will cover it? I would really like to get a hold of the people that do this.

Super weak dude. This is why I never leave anything in my boat at night. Even when I'm camping. I will straight up stack all the boards in the cab of the truck. Even at the old house, when I would keep it behind the fence on the side of the house, everything came out everytime.

Dollars to donuts its a couple of kids in the neighborhood. Keep your eyes peeled for anyone with a boat and teenagers in the neighborhood. Go up and talk to them if you see them.

What are the models of the boards and what not that they swiped?
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Sorry to hear. You ought to be able to leave stuff with out it disappearing.

Check out Craigslist or any local pawn shops.

I remember the thread of the guys who's boat sank and someone tried to come and drag it off while he was getting help.

Some people can be real jerks.

I think your boat insurance will cover the loss.

Talked to the insurance guy. Everything is covered no problem, and they are going to work with me on the deductible so I don't have to pay anything out of pocket. They said if all goes as planned I should have a check in my hand by the end of the week.

Keeping an eye on Craigslist, and I called a few of the bigger pawn shops in town to let them know that my high dollar stuff had been stolen.

@NICKYPOO - I normally do take everything out. Well, minus the life jackets. However, I was a LITTLE lazy Saturday after getting back from the lake. I thought nah.... nothing will happen. It's only one extra day. BOY WAS I Wrong.

Wakeboard = 2007 Obrien Valhalla with Obrien Xenon bindings. It has a black top sheet with a tinny red square with the length of the board in it. The bottom sheet is a cream color with a design of a dragon on it. I REALLLLLLLY LOVED THIS BOARD! I spent MANY of hours obsessing over boards three years ago when I bought this one.

Surfboard 1 = Inland Surfer Swallow V2. What makes me mad is that I just bought this board no more than three weeks ago.

Surfboard 2 = Liquid Force venture. White topsheet with the colors going from green to red from the tip to tail.

Not many used Swallow V2's are going to be out there! Good luck! If the thieves are smart, they will hold onto that one before trying to sell.

Ugh. I had this happen two years ago in a storage unit. They broke in and got my surf board, my boat cover, my stereo and speakers...... Man Im sorry. This brings back how shitty i felt after they violated my boat.
So this monkey walks into a bar...

I KNOW.... I normally take everything out. I was just a tad bit rushed because I needed to head to Truckee because the band I play in had a show at the Past Time on main street. Then on Sunday after I washed and waxed the boat I was just to lazy to take anything out. I should have just done it, and I wouldn't be on here gripping about it.

Here is a picture of the wakeboard. OOPS I thought it had a dragon on the bottom. That looks more like a night and a wolf of some sort. HAHA!

                        And here is the surfboard.

Timmy is right, not many of those IS boards around, especially around here. I will spread the word and keep a sharp eye out for it. Ryan is always out at Pyramid. I'll watch Lahontan. You watch Frenchman's and Moose will watch Tahoe. Together wull get that sumbitch. Yeeeeehaaaaa! I love posse!

More than likely, you'll never see any of it again. At least insurance is handling it. It's still totally disheartening.
