Went up there yesterday morning for a quick cruise. Launched the boat and told my wife to idle around while in parked the truck. I get to the dock and we idle out of the no wake zone and hit it only to have the boat die in the water. I looked down at the gauges to find that the temp was 250! Thank god for smart engines or I am sure we would have bought one yesterday.
After a 1/4 mile paddle back to shore I had the great opportunity to replace the impeller on the water.
I sure am glad I brought an extra impeller!
