Vinyl Cleaning

I bought some 303 vinyl cleaner for my white vinyl inside my boat. I sprayed it on then tried to wipe it off with dry hand towel and then a damp hand towel, but stains and disclored spots did not come off.

Any other ideas? What do you guys use? How do you guys get stains and discolored spots off?

Soft brush, circular motion... kinda like "wax on wax off" but with more repetition. Then a clean wet towel to rinse wipe. Then dry it with a dry beach towel.. clean as a whistle. Not a dirty whistle though.

The cleaner comes with a brush that helps to remove stuborn stains. You can also buy the product in a concentrate to make one gallon of cleaner.

I use a terry cloth towel.It works great.GO to Wakeworld there are several threads on BOAT BLING products.I've used 303,totally awesome and others.They work but require more effort and time.Boat Bling works best for me and others.

I use Meguires 57. Just spray it on and let it sit for a minute or a few minutes if its really dirty. Wipe clean. No scrubbing. I tend to keep the boat pretty clean so heavy duty cleaning is almost never neccesary. I was just at the dealer the other day and he couldn't believe how good it looked. In all fairness, the back seat needs to be redone but only because the threads gave out due to people stepping on it. Otherwise, it's in great shape and I've been using the Meg's 57 since I've had the boat (10 years).

For tough stains, I use good old fashioned sun light. You'd be amazed what it can do. I try to keep the bad stuff out of the boat. No orange chips, no red juice, no printed material (magazines or books or newspapers).

Get some Malco leather and plastic cleaner, stuff is PHENOMENAL!
Spray it on, use a brush, then wipe off with damp hand towel.

For tough spot cleaning use a magic eraser, use sparingly though and follow up with a protectant of some sort.

We use Magic Erasers to clean stains on the seats and then just a conditioner to protect.

I've heard to NEVER use a magic eraser. It can really screw up your vinyl.

I used magic eraser often on my X2 and never had any issues? Just do not OVER use it.....

Use McGuiers( maybe not spelled right) vinyl cleaner. Works great for us.

Totally Awesome is the way to go. I have used exquisite, Malco, and 303. Totally Awesome has been the best so far. Take a look at this thread from WW. A guy did a chemical break down between Malco and Totally Awesome.
