We have had our 22i for about 3 weeks now....Lovin' it! Since we got the boat we have been going to different lakes each weekend..trying them all. Anyway, this weekend we went to Houston County Lake in Crockett, Tx. Reason mainly being that I have family there and thought it would be nice to sneek in a visit as well. So we get to the lake, and it's low, but some locals said its fine as long as we stay on this one side of the lake. We went to the public ramp, but for some reason decided that we would rather go to the private ramp. We pay the $3 launch fee, and back her in. (Side note, for some reason I really didn't feel to good about the ramp, but just put that aside as I couldn't wait to get in the water...follow your gut!!) So my husband unhooks the winch and I start to back her off the trailer...Then this terrible noise...I had no idea what was happening, but knew it wasn't good. My husband is screaming at me to turn off the engine. Then it sinks in that the prop hit something under the water! I think, this isn't supposed to happen on the ramp. We didn't want to drive it back on the trailer for fear of causing more damage so my husband winches it up the best he can. It was not all the way on the trailer, but close. We pull the boat out and reluctantly look at the prop. It's not TOO bad, but not good. There's some scratches and a little folding to one of the propellers. My heart sank. There goes our great weekend on the lake! Felt like such a waste to have trailered it all that way (2.5 hrs) and not get to use it...PLUS the $130 or so we just threw in the trash so to speak. So anyway, we drove very carefully to the public ramp, backed it off the trailer and got it back on right. I decided since we were just handed lemons I would make lemonade. I grabbed a cold one, and just went for a swim. So tomorrow the prop goes in the shop and hopefully will be ready before this coming weekend. I knew this would happen eventually just didn't think it would be this soon. Oh well, it could have been a whole lot worse, and we're thankful it wasn't! So now we will be purchasing an additional prop so things like this won't ruin our entire weekend.

Man, that really sucks!! I hate driving long distances without even being able to take the boat out after something like that happens. I bent my prop on Lake Houston a couple of months ago. Didn't even get to take it out as I was pulling away from the launch when it happened. Stinks!! Get that sucker fixed and have a blast this weekend.
Pray for rain for all of Texas!! We are dying down here.
