O'Brian Xscream Tube on Lake Austin

Anyone 'find' an o'brian xscream on Lake Austin Sunday that isn't yours? My wife had it sitting on a private dock and somebody swiped it. Why do people have to take things that aren't theirs?

I hate tubers as well...but the kid doesn't like to board And it's fun to tube sometimes. But I pay attention to others on the lake and don't try to kill the person I'm pulling, I'm not the guy that does 360's in the middle of the lake and then spits off in some random direction leaving everyone to guess "where the F is he going" while not paying attention to anyone else on the water.

But ya... pissed, those things cost $250...why can't people just make some money and buy their own stuff...must just be the democrats I deserve your tube because I'm without.

strohlde - That sucks! Keep an eye on craigslist and see if it pops up.

I live in Reno. My wife, son, and I love to snowboard in the winter up in Tahoe. This past season someone swiped my wife's board, and three weeks later it showed up on craigslist. Luckily I reported it stolen to the police, and I actually had the serial number because we had taken a picture of the board for some reason. The girl who stole it got lucky. My wife didn't want to press charges.

Good luck and I hope it turns up.

Ya my wake board grew legs and left my garage a few weeks ok when I was out mowing the back lawn. And I live in a nice area. Been watching for it on CL but never saw it show up.

sucks..i love tubes especially when they stay waaaaaay out in the middle of the lake..like 5 miles haha

too bad tubes are a must for me. I have non surfers and nephews/nieces that need to be entertained. A few good runs on the tubes and they're dead..and quiet for the rest of the day leaving plenty of surf time

remind me to magic marker my name on both of our Formula 2's. i'd never leave them with the boat..I see some that do but they're friggen crazy. Tahoe has plenty of valley ripoff fkrs comin up here for free stuff
my midlife crisis started at puberty and I plan on enjoying it all the way to the end..

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

We almost had ours stolen the other day at Folsom Lake. We anchored in a very small inlet/cove on the side of the lake for lunch, put a bouy on the tube and anchor and chucked the anchor closer to shore so it was way out of the way. Went boarding for a couple of hours and stayed in the general vicinity. After the last boarder was done, looked ahead to where the tube was and saw a boat near it. Got everyone situated and hauled *** (at 35 mph ...miss my 65mph jet boat) over there to find a couple of dirt bags in their piece of **** boat trying to hook my tube up to their boat. They already had two 9-10 yo kids in a tube behind their boat. Nice example. I pulled up and threw my arms up and asked them why my tube was hooked up to their boat. They replied "...oh yeah we thought it was strange a lost tube would just be floating near the shore." As they proceeded to unhook it... I added it was especially strange being its anchored with a bouy attached. Too many young kids around to make much more of a fuss over, and just let them unhook and move on. It is possible they were just EXTREMELY f'ing stupid...but hard to tell.

It's to bad that you can't fix stupid, because the world would be a little better place.

Moose....that hurt! No, but it would seem logical.
