removal of metcraft tower and aerial install

just bought an aerial airborne tower and thought i would let yall know how it went. i did take a before during and will take after picture after completion. removal of old tower was pretty easy except for having to convince my wife to go under the dash, cause my big *** aint fitting in there. but i got the old one off and put new side rails up to mark new holes and to my delight it fit best in the old holes, sooo i'm pretty stoked about that. guess i'll finish it up tommorow and show the finished product. p.s. i had heard maybe the aluminum was weak and the backing plates were small but the tower rigidness seems pretty standard and the plates are bigger than the ones that came off. i think the hardest thing will be running my speaker wires again.

I just put one on my buddy's Malibu. Be sure you dry fit all the pieces before you start trying to mount them all up there. It really helps to have second set of hands. Once you get that thing set up there, go back and threadlock everything. They are actually pretty damn rigid once assembled but will fall apart if you don't threadlock it down.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.
