    06 Tige 24V - Ballast Set Up

As noted in an earlier post, I purchased an 06 Tige 24V last winter. I purchased the boat after following the advice from several members on this forum.

We've taken the boat out several times this spring and summer. And, I'm pleased to say, the boat is perfect in everyway.

Until this past weekend, we've skied, wake-boarded, knee-boarded and tubed behind the boat. However, this past weekend, I borrowed a few fat sacs from a friend and we surfed - wow - what a blast!!!

Although the former boat owner included a rear locker fat sac and a pump, it's not enough. So, now I need some advice on what's needed to create a cool wake that rivals my friend's Malibu.

My preference would be to use sacs that fit in the front, side and rear locker areas on the starboard side. Also, in order to conserve cash, I'll use the portable pump for now. However, next winter I'll want to install a more user friendly system.

Thanks in advance for the advice

    Simple.....for a 24V, go with the W712 Enzo.

Is the W712 Enzo sac all that's needed? Where can I purchase the Enzo for the best price? Finally, what's the best TAPS setting with the Enzo?

          Thanks

This is a pic of my old boat..(in the june pics thread) and it has an Enzo sac in the port side and it rocks. Actually it was before the Enzo sac was invented, so it was a custom ordered sac I had made by Flyhigh.

            Be excellent to one another.

Chpthril is your man. He spec'ed the system for my 24ve, I bought the enzo bag(s), Jabsco ballast puppy pumps, hoses & check valves, ball intake valves and exit fittings from him. I had a local guy do the installation over the winter 2 years ago. He helps with the questions and troubleshooting along the way.

I did the manual pump with fat sacs for a year--it works; but flipping a switch to fill/drain is the way to go.

I'm a 200# guy so the Inland Surfer Blue Lake is right for me, but there are a lot of great boards out there. Depending on the size/weight of your crew, you'll probably end up with a quiver of boards.

Glad the 24v is working for you.

Thanks Murphini. I'm going to order the bags from Mike. However, I'll wait to do the install during the winter.

I noticed you live in KCMO. We used to live in Lee's Summitt, MO in Lakewood. KCMO is a great city - Go Chiefs!!!

                Thanks again.

Have some pals who live in Lee's Summit--played Lakewood golf course years ago. We boat down at Hillsdale in KS but have also been out on Blue Springs Lake & Longview Lake. I'm partial to Tablerock.

My son will be a JR @ TCU so maybe we'll be boating down your way sometime soon.

We used to be members at Lakewood CC. Lakewood CC had a nice course and with a family friendly atmosphere.

The Lakewood community was a great neighborhood for our family. We stay in touch with a few Lakewood families. I’ve also been snow skiing with one of my former neighbors the past several years, even though we moved in 2003. We also stay in touch with a few families in the Leewood and Overland Park areas.

Let me know when you're in the Dallas area. You all can be our guests at Lake Texoma.
