Got back from a 7 day vacation in TN on Douglas Lake...No problem. (Absolutely beautiful lake btw) Take boat to Lake Blackshear GA very next weekend with girlfriend, day one and day two...no problem.

Day three we fire up, head out looking for tranquillity and the boat dies just 5 minutes into our journey. Bettery's have lots of power (all 8 batteries), but the ignition readout says 0 volts. Check after market fuses Tim White put in, all good. Checked perko switch, seems ok but I don't have a meter so I jumper with screw driver. Still, readout on console reads 0 volts with ignition switch foward.

Any clues out there is TigeOwner land before I haul it into Forte's?

How about the kill switch near the throttle.Or the circut breakers under the dash.

Check the ground wire to the engine. Happened to me, boat died dead in water, etc back in 2008. My dealer fixed--said it was a 5 minute job. Happened to another guy with a Chapparal I know, and he also had same fix.

I don't know where the ground wire is, but check it. If someone has a picture it'd be nice to see it posted.

Same problem as me but it was the positive lead - so my voltage was zero...

Not that that was much help. Good luck. Are you gonna buy another Tige again?

No....I like our boat a lot. Rather pay it off and just enjoy it for the next 10 years.

Besides, we put too much money into add-ons and amenities to ever consider selling her. Our RZ4 is basically a living room on the water with a big bimini top to keep the sun out. Slice of heaven is what it is.

seems as though this is a common problem. "ENG ECU No data for over 25 seconds" Battery reads "0".

The problem was a simple fuse at the main battery. Others have mentioned this in the "electrical" forum page as well.

I had the same problem, it was the wire from the starter to the battery did not have a good connection.

In my case I drove 300 miles to Lake Powell and back before I figure out the problem. I am glad it was just a loose connection and not the ECU.
