Not often. Sagmanaur knows some of the guys there and we tag a long. Was going to buy a boat through one of them but ended up getting one on my own.
Would actually like to hook up with them more often and learn more from those that know more.
Nice bunch of guys from what I know. Seem pretty helpful.l
The pictures are our second time hangin with them down at the Blues Festival. Called one of them up, asked if there was a spot for us front row and they said sure.
Had another killer day. Low 90"s, nothing but glass all day, no wind, few boats. We expected to get blown out by 11am but, it never happened. Once we got to our riding spot, my wife spotted something in the water. She drove us right up to it, I grabbed it and low and behold it was a Magic Horseshoe. A big, neon green, plastic horseshoe. I knew it was gonna be a good day.
Somebody actually took some pics of me! Small wake day with only three adults and three little kids but, everybody rode a couple times. A good time was had by all. The water is so high (you can see it eroding sections of beach that haven't seen water in at least 15 years) we decided to end the day with a trip into Secret Lake. It's an area of the lake that is only full when the lake is near capacity. You have to weave through a set of trees and bushes but, when you pop out on the other side, it's a perfect little slalom spot. It was getting late so we decided to ski it next time out. We started heading for the boat ramp and BAM!, wind. Perfect timing. Thank you Lucky Horse Shoe
